My name is Dixie87 and have just been given the 'all clear' 5 years after my surgery/treatment for colorectal cancer, so I feel a bit of a fraud joining you.
I live in France where I am a member of Cancer Support France. I am 68 years of age.
I still have a few problems which I hope someone can help me with later, this is just to say 'hello'.
Hi Dixie87 What wonderful news Congratulations on the five year marker. Wow. I’m at the beginning had my op August and now the surveillance starts. It’s weird coz I thought it was called monitoring. Still no matter. Have had amazing tips on managing my Ileostomy from survivor’s of the treatment. I have really found encouragement and practical advice. After five years your experiences will really help and I’m sure some members will advice you if you have problems.
