Morning.I have just had my first round of chemo and my hands and feet are really itchy just wondering if anyone else is having the same and got a solution as what to do to ease it
Hi MatrixWhat chemo are you on? Both oxaliplatin and capecitabine can cause tingly hands and feet and you need to keep a close eye on them as they can start to get sore and peel. Keep them well moisturised with Aveeno with Shea Butter (High st/supermarkets) or Udder Cream (Amazon) and mention it to the nurses at your next appointment. They may reduce your dosage? If they start to get really sore then ring the helpline number that you’ve been given just to run it past them. Use gloves when touching anything cold as this can cause a reaction too.
Take care

Hi Matrix. Might be worth checking with the nurses to make sure it’s not an allergic reaction?
