Others will be along to share from experience but I just want to welcome you to the forum and reassure you that bowel cancer caught early has a lot of treatment options and we are here to support you during this very difficult initial period where nothing makes much sense !
Hi, , welcome, No one wants to be here, but we will all help as much as we can. Once you know more, and have 1001 questions just ask them. Someone is likely to have the answer. Just be aware that you are now in the most stressful time, between diagnosis and treatment, so we are here to support you. (((Hugs)))
Thank you so much, I think the not knowing is the worst. I see the consultant next week to find out what’s going on and what treatment I’ll be getting. I’ve got so many questions to ask!
She has indeed ! I have no idea how she endured it all but she is still here ! Still participating fully and enjoying life ! Hope it gave you some hope and a little light during this difficult stage !
Hi Elsey, hope you have family and friends and a good team of consultants around you. I’ve been lucky with that and Belfsst City Hospital and MacMillan have been and are still there for me. It ain’t easy been but it’s worth giving it a good go. Good luck, Michael
