So I have been through couple different types of chemo treatments that eventually failed my condition which was colon cancer then metastisized to Liver, now I am on Lonsurf tablets and have been watching the cea levels which have risen, then dropped now risen drastically, does any one know how high the cea levels can go without causing death? Does Lonsurf bring those levels up like this?
Hi
CEA is such a variable ! My mum’s stayed low despite a significant spread , yet I have seen people on here up in the thousands ! How are your liver enzymes holding out ? I think they pay close attention to them !
Just to throw another thought into the mix my mum’s actually rose on chemo after an initial drop which was due to the chemo itself not the cancer ! On the scan it was significant shrinkage . I still think they track them but rely more on the scan !
How long have you been on it ?
Take care ,
