I have stage 4 colon and liver cancer. I've just completed 6 sessions of chemo. My whole body is numb, even my teeth. Is this normal please?
Hi
I think you would need to speak to your team about that ! My mum had numb fingers and toes but I think your team would want to know if it was affecting your whole body ! Hope it starts to ease for you soon !
You could chat to our helpline staff 0808 808 0000.
They might be able to offer more clinical input or you could run it by your GP .

Hi . I told the nurses that my tongue had gone numb - felt like I’d eaten a whole bag of aniseed balls at once - and the oncologist stopped the oxaliplatin - she said it was a rare side effect but she didn’t want to take any chances. Do you have a 24 hour chemo line at your hospital that you can ring? I was told it was not just for emergencies but for reassurance too?
