Hi all, my husband was recently diagnosed with colon cancer and today we got his treatment plan. We are reeling with all the information, so much to take in. Also shocked that it is stage 3, we really thought it was caught at early stage.
Hi and a warm welcome to the board from me. It’s good to have a treatment plan in place but, like you say, it’s a lot to take in at once. I’ve attached a booklet which is good for just starting out and learning the jargon etc. Is your hubby going straight to surgery?

I was stage 3 when I was diagnosed in 2016 and I’m still cancer free as are my 2 friends that I went through my treatment with.
Stay away from google - it is out of date and downright scary in places - you can ask anything you want on here and we’ll be happy to support you both through this
Take care

Thank you Karen, it is so good to have the support of others. My husband will be having 5 days of radiotherapy followed directly by the op. He will also be having a colostomy and chemo.
Great news that you and your friends have stayed clear this long.
Onwards and upwards x
