Kinda new here, never posted.

Have stage 3 (t3n01a) bowel cancer, had a resection of my bowel and waiting for chemo to start in the next couple of weeks (CAP-OX)

  • Hi there , welcome, but not the reason you are joining us! Can't help with CAPP OX as I had 5FU afterwards, but I'm sure someone else can. Stay safe

  • Hi, I think I'm a similar stage to you. I was told I had pT2 pN1 which is Stage 3a. I had a lower anterior resection with ileostomy. I had two cycles of chemo so far. There is so much to deal with, with the op and the drugs but this group is great to get support and suggestions if you have any issues. Take care x

  • Hi  and a warm welcome to the board from me too. Good to hear that you have the op behind you and you’re on the final stage. I had capox back in 2017 after having 2/17 nodes found to be positive. Chemos not nice but it’s the belt and braces on your treatment and we’ll be happy to help you through it.

If there’s anything you want to ask then please do - there’s lots here been in it so happy to share advice. If you type capox/xelox/ oxaliplatin in the search box at the top of the page then you’ll see lots of previous posts

    Take care

    Karen x
