How do people cope while waiting for a diagnosis, raining hard so cannot go for a walk or do some gardening. Help please as I am petrified.
Hi . This is the hardest time - waiting for results - just do whatever you can to stay busy. Can you meet a friend for coffee? Learn to knit/crochet on line? Clear out that cupboard/drawer that you’ve been meaning to do for ages?
Most importantly - stay away from google. You don’t know what you’re facing yet so please don’t try and self diagnosed or you will scare yourself silly. If - and remember there are a lot of things that can cause symptoms similar to bowel cancer - if it does turn out to be bowel cancer then come back here and we will help you through it. Bowel cancer is very treatable nowadays but cross that bridge if you get to it
Hope your results come through soon
Take care
