Hello everyone hope you are all doing well , I'm Mehrsa and I'm a locally advanced colon cancer survivor I had total pelvic exenteration a year ago and had so many problems during past year , but I'm still fighting, I'm here to talk to people who are experiencing something like me and share my story and life , I'm living as a double bagger and recovering from surgery still and life goes on
I wish you all the best
Xx Madeline
Welcome Mehrsa
Do glad you joined and willing to share your recovery . That kind of support is so beneficial for people starting out . For some reason we have a lot of people lately who have had a total pelvic exenteration and having realistic guidance is invaluable. I will bookmark your thread !
Also pleased to hear you are recovering . Given the extensive nature of the surgery I am sure it’s been a very difficult year on top of covid .
Hope you are able to make some plans for this summer now ?
Take care ,

Hi dear Court
Thank you for the reply and your kind words, it means so much
Actually past year was full of infections, hospital stays, medication, and lots of other stuff but recently I've been recovering well , it took me long time to accept the changes in my body and get used to them , still some problems with sitting and walking but beside this everything is okay
Due to having infections I'm afraid I'm not able to go for swimming but I have some plans to do some work outs to maybe get this body strong again
