November 5th 2017 diagnoses with 75 percent blockage in colon. Operated on only for it to return and be operated in exactly the same place. So I had a resection. I was told that there were still some cells left after chemo but they were stable. I was told they were going to scan every three months. I was then told on the 9th January 2021 I was told the cancer had gone to my stomach, liver, and lungs and life limiting. The only options I have now is chemotherapy or no chemotherapy. I'm on my 6 session as we speak and had my first scan since my January diagnosis. Gutted doesn't even come close
Hi
Welcome to the forum ! So sorry to read about all you have been through !
Have you had your scan results following chemo or have you just started six cycles ?
It is really tough hearing it has spread . How have you coped with the chemo ? Has it been tolerable for you ?
Have you to make the decision on having more chemo just now or are they hoping to give you a break to recover ?
Take care ,
Court
