I had successful operation. Chemo. Then secondary in liver and lung. Followed by more chemo. Then two major liver resections made me clear. One node on lung .
Unfortunately next scan revealed it had moved into lymph nodes so back on chemo losing my hair for second time.
Its been such a roller coaster ride but I don’t want to give up.
It would be good to hear from anyone who is going through similar
thank you x
Hi
You have endured a lot of surgery and chemo . I am sorry you have more to endure . One of my mum’s surgeons explained that the microdisease is all part of the original spread revealing itself . The first two years were the most intense for my mum . Back and forward with surgery / chemo . Then she caught a break for a few years before a small lung met popped up . However it slowed down after that and I am delighted to say the last five years she has been completely clear and classed as cured . Only took her twelve years !
Hopefully it will be the same for you too and this will be the last big push forward to remove the microdisease .
Hope it gives you a bit of encouragement.
