Hi, After going back and forth to my GP over a few months with abdominal discomfort and some blood in stools, I was told it was likely IBS and heamorroids. I then had a lot of blood loss and had a stay in hospital to be told that they could feel something in the rectum. I have now had a CT scan, MRI and a colonoscopy where they took biopsies. The report detailed a 4.5 cm tumour. I'm 38 and will be getting a telephone call on Monday with the plan following the MDT meeting. Feeling really emotional this weekend, trying to keep busy but also feel exhausted with my mind continually going over things.
I so feel for you I was diagnosed with a 4.5 cm tumor to had 5 weeks capecitabine and radiotherapy had 5 weeks off and thay have just done mri and ct scan I've got to wait 2 weeks for results my head is all over the place but everyone on here has been helpfull hope all goes well for you to xxxx
