Good Morning to everyone,
I do apologise If some of you have noticed the confusion I have created posting in the wrong groups, forgetting my user name, Joining the wrong groups, setting up new pofiles and a general mess created caused by a Bi-Polar episode which luckily has now ended lol You have to laugh.
I hope eveyone fares well this morning despite the dire weather this weekend.
I cannot recall who I spoke to or replied to in my confused state and posts so apologies If it was mistaken as rudeness.
So, Firstly I hope I am in the right group now and secondly without wanting to bore anyone I shall quickly explain my situation and ask if anyone could kindly answer any of my questions.
After a bicycle crash last summer they found I had a "Shape" "Anomoly" In my Liver. Thank God by the time I had a CT scan they found it had gone probably a bleed caused by the bike crash? They noticed I had enlarged Lymph nodes In my tummy which then led to the discovery of a Appendix Mucinous Neoplasm (Sorry if i have not got the exact name for it correctly)
I had a Colonoscopy last Tues which was fun. I tried the Gas and Air at the start but it made me feel tripped out and just about to fall off The Planet so I elected to go without. I hated the feeling it gave me.
They had difficulty getting the camera around "The bit sore bit" but after 4-5 attempts they got the camera through. They then directed it to the tube, pipe lol, whatever it is called and inspected the top of the Appendix and took some tissue samples.
The Colonoscopist and Nursing assistant were brilliant and we all shared the same sense of humour. At one point the Colonoscopist had to stop as she was laughing so much.
Anyway The Colonoscopist mentioned on a number of occations that everything In my Colon, Tube leading to my Appendix looked completely normal. Would she just say that? Is my 1st question.
I have not yet seen The Surgeon to discuss the results of the samples taken but in a letter prior to the colonoscopy he said he planned on doing a Laparoscopic radical appendicectomy. Can anyone please tell me what this is? I have found that part of it means "Keyhole Surgey" but am unsure of the rest and the prognosis.
My Consultant said before the Colonoscopy that he thinks it will all turn out well which Is a good thing.
After reading some of your posts compared to the hell most of you have had to endure I feel a bit of a fraud because compared my Appendix problem is a lightweight problem. I have witnessed so much strength and support on here I am very moved.
Wishing you all the best
Will
Hello
We have chatted before I remember your name ! So pleased to hear your consultant thinks things will turn out well . They are inclined to be very truthful so I would hold onto that ,
Honestly you don’t need to apologise. I never noticed anything but I remember you mentioned you were managing a bi polar disorder so as long as you are well that’s all that matters to us .
Take care ,

Hiya Court,
Thank-You for your reply. I do have a tendancy to apologise about my memory lapses tied together with BP episodes when perhaps I should not need to.
I am still waiting for the results of my Colonoscopy. The Colonoscopist gave me a file with all the rport contained within but I guess I have to wait until they call me.
I hope all is going okay for you.
Will
