Hello
Just want to ask is anybody experience with weight loss with chemotherapy for small bowel cancer
When I started in February I was 54.80 kgs and am down now to 52.50 kgs. Even taking supplements from dietician like ensure compact with 300 calories each to try and keep weight on
Hello,
Yes I lost around 2 stone when I went through chemotherapy for colon cancer. I think your body just burns up calories fast to try and do battle! I took the drinkables the team gave me and also ate a hell of a lot of carbs! Once chemo was over I slowly put the weight back on.
