Hi,
I had a right hemi- colectomy on Saturday and was discharged home a couple of days ago. So am 5 days post op.
The main issue is that I have constant explosive diarrhoea through the day and night and I feel so awful that I can't eat much at all. I can't sleep and I'm so exhausted and miserable.
Has anyone experienced this? My consultant said it should settle and to take dioralyte which I am doing.
Is there anything else I should be asking for?
Would be so grateful for advice- I feel like I can't cope with this much longer
