Hello everyone

6 weeks ago, my husband was diagnosed after his endoscopy. Shocked doesn't come close.

He's 45, super fit, all the usual and bam here we are. His symptom that got us here was the increased urge to go to the loo. Which is severely ramping up now.

Surgery booked for the 6th August, but he's so down. He can't exercise as his accidents are frequent now. We're going through about 25 loo rolls a week!

It's 7.30pm and he's gone to bed as so fed up. He's petrified of the surgery and the results that will come after.

Anyhow just wanted to say hello. I'm feeling very on my own. My own mum died of cancer 9 years ago. Never thought in a million years something would be worse, but this 100% is. X

  • Hi Liane, it is a stressful time for you all. But remember they work wonders nowadays, with me I had colon cancer which spread locally to my duodenum. I was lucky enough to be given immunotherapy. I to had an operation a right hemicolectomy and part of my duodenum removed and here I am now clear for 2 years. I know its hard and no one can say it will be fine for certain but try to be positive. As for the accidents I had that for nearly two years after I found the cure myself. I have given loads of info on it in a posting starting “Call to arms BAM” it might help sometime in the future. My thoughts are with you both and good luck and I hope everything goes great
