Does anyone here who has a nephrostomy bag get itching when it's so warm?

Did you see the reply you got to your same question in the bladder group? The bladder group is the best place to ask anything g about nephrostomies.
To answer your question, it could be an allergic reaction to the adhesive on the bag, or it could simply be the hot weather we’ve been having which causes us to sweat more and cause itching. My two bags can both cause itching in the heat, and I know it’s not an allergic reaction.
If he’s getting concerned about it and thinks it might be an allergy, have a word with the nurse and see if any changes can be made to help him.
