Hoping for some advice.

I am due my 3 month review this week and just wanted some advice on what gets discussed and any questions to ask.

I had rectal tumor removed and loop ileostomy no follow up chemo required as tumor removed with clear margins. I am hoping to discuss reversal but not sure if it would be too early for that.

any advice would be gratefully received

  • Hi  and good to hear that you had clear margins and no further treatment required. Yes you could ask about a reversal but they will need to check that the rejoin is fully healed first. You could also ask about what follow up appointments you can expect, how often and for how long? x
