My husband has stage 4 bowel cancer. It has been recommended he take 3 laxatives daily. This is due to a recent infection and he hasn't opened his bowels for 5 days. Today he lied by saying he had taken the first dose, when he had poured it down the sink. Tonight he pretended to be asleep to avoid taking it. I insisted he take it so he lay on his pillow deliberately dribbling it out of the side of his mouth. He tried to tell me he hadn't done this, but his pillow was soaked where he had deliberately dribbled it out. Has anyone else had a similar issue?
