My colon tumors are quite large, haven’t even started treatments yet because there’s a blip on the liver that has to be addressed.  They won’t prescribe me any pain meds.  I have pretty constant pain in the rectum area with the constant urge to have to poop.  We’re past being shy at this point with verbage right?
what foods should be avoiding, what can I do to alleviate this pain?  I tried to hand on to one cup of coffee in the early AM, is this a strong No?

I’ll listen to any suggestions

Thanks

  • Sorry to hear of your diagnosis,  have you spoken to your GP? If not, I would make an emergency appt, they may not have all the details from your oncology team yet. My husband's, who's S4 colon, GP prescribed pregablin and some morphine e as well as laxido and loperimide in case of constipation or diarrhea as you could end up with both at any point in the treatment. Hope you get what you need.
