Got a call this afternoon with my appt date and time to go through my results and treatment. The nurse sounded quite upbeat and didn't even mention me bringing someone with me so that has already made me feel so much better. Hoping now that it's either benign or not even cancer at all!
Fingers crossed
Evening Rosie,
Can I suggest you take someone with you or at least have an app on your phone to record the consultation.
Im a very independent person, I live by myself plan my work, holidays, projects etc etc by myself. What I found was that when I can go to my consultations with all my questions ready, both written down and in my head and I don’t ask half of them!
I really hope that you go in and they say “everything is great, go home” but, if they don’t you are likely to not ask what needs to be asked or remember much of what they say to you.
all the best, paul
