At the beginning of February I found out that I had a blockage in my large bowel. By the end of February I'd had surgery which was successful. All the mass had been removed. It was malignant. A few months later I started chemo, just in case. CAPOX made me rather poorly so I stopped taking the tablets. I was told to go to MAU to get checked out. To cut this short, blood tests indicated that I'd got a blood clot. A chest scan didn't find a clot but showed that the cancer had spread. Another scan of tummy area found the clot and more cancer cells.
I know what this means and I've started a different chemo.
I've found that I can't say that "I've got cancer"
I can explain what's happened but it feels wrong to say that "I've got cancer".
Sorry for whittering on.
