My son has had colon cancer and now has a stoma
For a couple months after surgery, my appetite was poor and things just didn't taste the same. I normally have a massive sweet tooth but during the time I was recovering, I disliked sweets. It was weird.
Eventually things returned to normal.

He is eating better than he was and seems to be tolerating most foods his stoma is no trouble up to now
He sees the urology team tomorrow so fingers crossed he gets the operation soon

He can't have his operation until he is fully fit
They will see him again in 2 months
