As many of you know my son has been having treatment for bowel cancer since June. His operation was on the 21st March and it took 10 hours his kidney was damaged during the operation but he is dealing with it. I want this post to be positive his stoma is now working and he has started a light diet today . He isn't in much pain now and is getting up and walking round. He's much better than he was and we can see a light at the end of the tunnel.
Just when I thought things were going well his kidney has swollen today so they are going to put a drain in his back to drain the urine into a bag they will then have to operate to join the kidneys to drain through 1 urether. Everything that can go wrong is doing for him. I was sure he was on the mend .
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
