Till 13th February for me to go back on chemo I must say I am so worried if this thing is in my lungs then why make me wait until now to tell me so scared can't even think straight out don't know what going to happen I had untold scans and test looked it up on Google I didn't like what I was reading as it scared me

  • It's possible that they did not think the areas on the lung were cancer based on common CT scan. But after a PET, now it is concerning. The different tests give different information. They are telling you at the time they think the lung areas are important.

Stay away from Google. It will only terrify you. The information you are seeing may not be from reliable sources and probably out of date even from some good sources.

You are not a statistic. You are a unique individual and your cancer is unique to you. Your treatment team is the best source of information.

I know waiting is hard. Try not to let your mind wander down a thousand what if scenarios. That only multiplies your worries. Only 1 outcome will need to be lived and it is likely better than any of your imagining.

  • Thank you for your help and support means a lot
