Hi I am a mum and Nanny, my daughter was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer August last year. She finished 6 rounds of chemo in January. Scans showed a small soot on her liver, more scans. She will face more chemo. Feeling very scared and anxious. Idont know what to say or do feel helpless.
Might be helpful to ask her oncologist whether a liver ablation would be the way to deal with the 'small soot' I don;t know what is meant by a small soot but liver ablations can be a quick way to deal with a small liver tumour. Mine was painless with one overnight stay and only a tiny pinprick visible after, with fairly quick recovery and back to normal life. You do not mention if your daughter has had surgery, which I had had quite some time before a very small liver tumour was found by scan. I am much older and ok now.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
