Scan results

For my husband they needed both back to take to MDT to discuss next steps as they wanted to see what response he’d had to the treatment before deciding on the best way to move forward. He’s now been put forward for surgery and we’ll be meeting the surgeon next month to find out more about the planned operation. His was a bit complex so It may be different for other situations

My son is seeing his surgeon on Wednesday don't know what to expect I know he's having an operation but they aren't all the same are they?

Hi good luck to your son for the surgeon meeting. There are quite a few different operations depending on the location of the tumour. Am sure it will all be explained, my surgeon drew me a helpful diagram!

He has had his meeting with surgeon the cancer hasn't spread but it hasn't shrunk as much as they wanted it to 

 He had to try to loose weight and exercise before his op it might be in Leeds 

Hi, that's great news there is no spread. Is the plan to  try and shrink it some more? 

I hope you get an operation date soon and all the best to your son in preparing for it. I am not too far from Leeds!

No they are going straight to operation the surgeon was cross because he hadn't had his scan results before he saw him 

His information says due to lymph nodes and partial response going to speak to Leeds 

Does anyone know what this means?
