    1. I was meant to see collateral surgery nurse today had everything else done and I was having iron infusion and my second lot of blood on Monday as far as I know that still scheduled to go ahead but I got a call to a day to say not to come to the appointment today as surgeon hasn't had a chance to see latest CT scan which I had done 14 for December I don't know what to do now as I am meant to have surgery on the ninth this month but now I've got a wait to speak with surgeon tomorrow as he's calling me and then the nurse said that they will have a meeting on Wednesday to discuss my case so I don't know what's going on but like I said before I broke my femur in October and the cancer surgery which was going to take place on the end of October but had to be put back because of what happened when I fell outside the hospital I am so worried now I don't know what to do or think maybe it'll be okay but I was just got no answers at the moment I'm all ready for the 9th January when they said it was gonna happen I just don't need them to leave that no longer as I am really really worried
  • Try not to worry too much (I know, easier said than done!) The delay sounds administrative rather than related to you or your health condition.  The holidays always tend to mess with people's schedules including doctors.

When the doctor calls tomorrow you can ask about the surgery date. Until then, find a task ot tasks to distract your mind, take a walk in nature, meditate, whatever works for you is fine. Just break the cycle of worry, it will take you down.
