I'm hoping my attendance in this group will be brief (for good reasons, of course). I feel a bit of a fraud posting here as I've just done a FIT test and have to do bloods and a second poop sample Tuesday (for infection). My symptoms have only been two weeks of loose stools (ignoring all the odd twinges etc. when you worry something bad is happening) but apparentlyonce you hit 50, screening for BC is standard practice. I have suffered with health anxiety my whole life and lost my husband to BC seven years ago, so I'm sort of reliving everything he went through in my imagination already. At 57, with countless self-imposed health scares, I should know better. I'm humbled by the strength I see on this forum.
Hi Ninnie Please don’t feel like a fraud - everyone is welcome at any time. Your fears are totally understandable and I’m sorry that it’s bringing back memories of sad times for you. It’s always best to get checked out but try not to fear the worst and focus on happier memories with your husband?
Take care and please let us know how you get on?
