My twin has had to get piles removed as had my mother so does run in family but still even the way they couldn't remove it during the colonscopy has me worried he said cause it was on a stalk was just risk of bleeding so had to get sent to more advanced hospital has anyone else experienced this ??

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

I'm sorry to read about how much you've been through and it's natural to be worried and what to see if others have experienced something similar.

I'm not a member of this forum but noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list again.

  • Hi

We have had people come through who are not able to get the polyp removed during the colonoscopy. But they have gone on to have them successfully removed .
They don’t generally hang around the forum after that but if you check out the search function you might be able to read some of their posts .

Glad you have good surveillance set up if it’s a family thing .

Our helpline staff you also be happy to chat to you .

    Take care ,
