I had an appointment today that I was expecting to be my post chemo "sign off" from the oncologist.
Went there to discover the radiologist couldn't see my post op scan (That was on my record) to compare them and has now recommended an mri as my liver and head of my pancreas looks inflamed.
I now can't be seen again for 2 weeks due to waiting for the scan and waiting for an MDT meeting to discuss it all.
In the meantime I have a holiday to go on so the oncologist has recommended I go and enjoy my holiday and try not to worry!
I know how easily BC can spread to the liver Nd this has me really worried.
Hi BrenW
Sorry you have some inflammation to deal with . Any spread my mum had was described in measurements . The new CT scans were so accurate they were picking things up from 2mm . In all 65 scans nothing was ever mentioned with reference to inflammation as far a can recall .
Hope you can relax and enjoy your holiday . You have earned it !
