Has anyone been through this treatment?
my dads colorectal cancer with it now reappearing back in the lungs after the chemo getting rid of it for a year.
he’s now been moved onto this new treatment and wondering if anyone has any advice or what to expect next?
thanks in advance
Hi Wonder34
It’s not a chemo my mum ever used but by all accounts it’s reasonably well tolerated.
You might want to pop over to Bowel cancer U.K. as I think there are some long term users of this combination and you might get some useful info there .
However I just want to wish your dad all the very best best . He has knock it back down before and here’s to him doing it again .
My mum had a targeted treatment which worked well after 14 years on her lung . She is too frail now but if she could have she would have given it a good go .
More power to your dads elbow and here’s to significant shrinkage . It’s a bump on the road for sure but draw strength and I really hope he gets it all back under control .
Take care ,
