My son starts chemo next weekend he is having a pic line fitted who will flush this and make sure it's ok
Hi Rosie13 I had to go to the chemo unit at the hospital in between each iv session and they did it there - think they like to do it every 7-10 days. With your son having a pump then it may be a district nurse who will disconnect the pump (assuming the chemo after his initial one in hospital will be done at home?) and then they may visit in between to flush it? It’s only a 10 minute job but makes sure that the line is clear x
