After two and a half years of hell, radiotherapy, a major 8hr operation, 3 lots of chemo, one which almost killed me and more hospital stays than i care to remember i have finally been given the all clear (again). Hoping this time it's third time lucky and it really has gone, having been told this twice before.
Still have pain, probably post op, and am still constantly tired but now I can work on getting back to normal-ish.
Anyone struggling and considering giving up, well I was in the same situation and am proof that things can get better.
Good luck to those still fighting
I read this earlier and thought once I can grab a minute I will pop on and say just how wonderful this is . A long road and lots of difficult bumps along the way but you got there and it’s fabulous.
Enjoy every moment .
And here’s to wonderful health for the future .
