I am 4 weeks on from a right hemi transverse section and have had a problem with an intense pain in the upper right abdomen which wakes me up during the night. I have to take painkillers twice during the night. So I have been 3 weeks without any interrupted sleep .I have twice been referred by my GP back to the surgical unit and although they have found minute leaks in anastomosis it wouldn’t cause this level of pain for this length of time and only at night
