I will contact the 24 helpline tomorrow however has anyone developed peripheral neuropathy in their feet and can tell me what it feels like?
I am just about to start cycle 7 (of 8 nearly there!!) Of capox and so far any neuropathy has been in my fingers but only when touching cold things.
I seem to have developed a strange sensation in my feet, not unpleasant, a little tingle in both feet randomly during the day and more intense tingling at night when I sit with my legs crossed. Does this sound like neuropathy in my feet? Seems a little strange that it has started during my "off" week and so late in my treatment.
Hi BrenW Yes it does sound like it so ask the chemo nurses to look at your feet when you’re next there. Mine had started to redden and they stopped the oxaliplatin and I continued on capecitabine only for the last couple of cycles. It can get worse after stopping so speak up sooner rather than later and hopefully avoid any permanent damage
Take care
