Hi Everyone, My Wife checked in for her 3rd Liver Ablation Treatment today and was informed prior to the procedure being carried out, that her Right Lung would also require Ablation Treatment. This was due to a Leision being evident from a recent Thorax CT Scan that she requested.
I would like to know please if there are any long term Bowel Cancer Patients who have had to put off getting a reversal procedure due to being constantly on Chemotherapy.
She has been off Chemotherapy for about 15 months so far. Any Metastases were treated with Microwave Ablation. However now that her Lung is involved I'm wondering if she may have missed a window for reversal of her Ileostomy.
Hi Gunfitter400
You might benefit from also posting on the stoma group to find those who have been in a similar situation-I’m afraid I can’t offer any experience as my colostomy is permanent but others may have experience of waiting for a reversal-
Sarah xx
