When to expect to start Chemotherapy?

Hey everyone .
So was given a diagnosis, then was told some tests had to be done before chemotherapy can be given.
Now seen an Oncologist who took bloods, weight and height. They talked me through which Chemotherapy they are going to use.
They said the tests are being done and booked us in for next week to confirm which Chemo they can use.
Does anyone know how long it will take from here because a few weeks have passed already?

For me taking several weeks due to Easter. I need to have a port implanted about a week before it starts. Also baseline CT scan. Nothing is ever as quick as I expected.

For me , all the scans have been done and dont need a port fitting. So hopefully its soon!

I started chemotherapy 3 weeks after meeting the oncologist and signing the paperwork, I’m not sure if it will be a different timeframe for you though as mine is adjuvant chemotherapy.
