It is nearly four years since my operation, I didn’t have a stoma. My husband says I should ask someone, as i am constantly, what i can only describe as burping, or belching, it is not painful in any way, and not necessarily after eating, just curious to know if anyone else has this side effect.
Hi, hutchm , despite not having a stoma and reversal, you may be suffering from a form of LARS, low anterior resection syndrome. There is a specific group for this, though you might have to pick your way through as most will be reversals. It is not something that is commonly mentioned for non stoma folks.
