Just came across this recent publication from Medscape so I thought I'd share as I know a few people on this forum are taking low-dose aspirin and it might be of interest to others: Aspirin as Therapy Cuts Mortality In Cancer (medscape.co.uk).
"The authors conclude that aspirin’s use as cancer therapy is “justified,” and, based on National Health Service ethics guidelines and a UK Supreme Court decision, patients “should be informed” of aspirin’s risks and benefits without having to ask first."
I hope everyone is doing OK

Hi Cecile
Thanks for taking the time to provide a link to this study.
I'm responding to your post so that it will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion page in case anyone hasn't had a chance to see it yet.

This is really interesting as my onco said there’s not enough research to suggest aspirin does anything so said to me it’s not worth it. I’ve had both bowel & breast cancer so will send her this & see what she says!
thanks for posting!
