Good evening folks,
I had an unsuccessful stoma operation around yen weeks ago.
I couldn't have the full tumour removed and a bag fitted because of scar tissue due to chemo.
However I'm scheduled at the beginning of the year for another operation by a specialist to remove the rest of the tumour and have a stoma.
My query is I feel tired quite a lot, it just comes over me like a huge wave and I need to lie down for an hour..
Is this normal I'm 66.
Thanks.
Hi Robby63 Yes it’s completely normal and I’m sure things will improve over time. It might be worth having a chat with your doctor and getting bloods done to make sure you’re not deficient in anything - I remember my vitamin d being really low.
Try and do a bit of exercise if you can but listen to your body and rest when you need to.

You’ve been through a lot and it’s frustrating to not be able to bounce back to your old ways but be patient and remember that this too will pass
Take care
