Had my new picc line fitted on Wednesday ready for infusion again next week, it waa flushed and bloods taken Thursday morning it felt quite sore today so my daughter who's trained to flush and dress my line had a look this morning and it's black and blue I was shocked no wonder its sore.

So my next journey starts next week I'm hoping it works again as ig did last time.

Oh dear HazG I hope it settles down for you. I found mine to get sore where the plastic cannula bit dug into my arm so they used to try and wrap it in something before taping it all down.
Hope the next stint is as successful as last time

My line gets sore round orange canula and has bled. It is ok at moment but will get angry again!! It's the way of it! Hope you not too uncomfortable?

Hi HazG, mine was sore for a good few days after fitting. It did settle down but does still get tender near the orange cannula on occasion. Hope it settles quickly for you.
