If you are told you have a tumour on the right side of the rectum, does that mean MY right side, or on the the right side that the doctor is viewing (i.e. my LEFT side) ?

Hi Susie64 There’s no such thing as a silly question and I think that’s a pretty fair question. I would think it would be YOUR right but you could ring the support desk to ask their opinion? I’ve attached a booklet that talks about some of the terminology and staging and positions
