Hi my name is Linda I have just been diagnosed with T2/3 N1 proximal sigmoid tumor. I have my operation on 1st of October I went for pre assessment and all is well until I mentioned I have COPD and said I may need a epidural rather than full anesthesia I am now absolutely petrified can any one put my mind at rest.
Hi my husband has a serious health issues and he needed a new knee.
He had a full knee replacement with an epidural, he was concerned as our son had gone into details of the procedure as he is a radiographer!
My hubby was concerned as he thought he would be awake and the thought of hammers and drills gave him the collywobbles
It was fine he has no recollection of any of it as he was sedated heavily though this meant he was up and about very quickly
Ann
