Sigmoid colon cancer

I was in hospital with someone who had severe copd and she was given a full anesthetic. Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Mine was rectosigmoid junction. X

Hi my husband has a serious health issues and he needed a new knee. 
He had a full knee replacement with an epidural, he was concerned as our son had gone into details of the procedure as he is a radiographer! 
My hubby was concerned as he thought he would be awake and the thought of hammers and drills gave him the collywobbles 

It was fine he has no recollection of any of it as he was sedated heavily though this meant he was up and about very quickly 

I have had both hips replaced under epidurals.I didnt feel a thing and dont remember much either apart from the anaesthetist chatting to me.

I'm doing OK thanks took some time to get used to changes but feel so much better. Good luck with your op x

I had a hip replacement with a spinal block, didn’t feel a thing or hear anything. I am sure you will be well looked after
