Hello again

My problem is ongoing. The left sided abdominal pain which comes and goes and no definitive diagnosis.

I understood from my specialist nurses that I would be seen by the consultant after my 1st year colonoscopy and ct scan, they were all clear, but that does not appear to be happening.

My husband though supportive seems to think I should just get on with life and ignore the pain. I would like a definitive diagnosis  though I am pretty sure it is adhesions , so that I can seek alternative therapies like acupuncture . Should I just go ahead , pain killers don’t work but it has been suggested I take Gabapentin  , not keen on that.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

  • Hi Cartier. Could you perhaps contact your specialist nurse and explain that you’re having issues and could she either speak to your consultant or arrange an appointment? You could try posting this in the Ask the Nurse section but I think they would be limited as to what they could advise with not knowing your full medical history?

    Take care
