Bowel Screening

Hi.

I have regular bowel screening tests and all have been OK. This time however. It has shown blood in my stool.

My question is. I do get quite constipated anyway and bleed when going to the toilet (I assume a tear ),

If blood has shown up is it possible that its because I've been constipated and had a small tear ?

Actually the numbers of people who have bowel cancer following a positive fit test is very low . Many other reasons for bleeding but they like to investigate thoroughly to ease what ever is causing the issue .
