Hi All

I had APR surgery end September 2022. Its a long process to to get used to your new life and path to fully recover. Its been 9 months since and a still need special cusion sometimes to sit for long periods of time.

Sitting nomally 100% takes a long time. Sitting fairly comfortably takes 3 to 4 months and gets better all the time.  9 months later is still tender sometimes and not 100%

Dont despair be patient

Regards

Arno

  • Court , could I just add that whilst sitting after "barbie bum" surgery gets easier sometimes the numness can last much longer, because of how the nerves need to regrow.I didnt want people worrying if it wasnt all back to normal in 9 months

  • Absolutely. The more guidance and information we can gather the better a resource for the future .
