16 Days since my right ascending colon re-section. While my bowels have been good I seem to have dried up in the last couple of days. Is it o/k to take laxative

I think it’s best to contact your colo nurses. They advised me the best way to encourage things moving.
Im opposite as I’ve been reversed so I need to slow things down more though occasionally I need a gentle softener. I don’t take anything too aggressive as I find it can cause my bowel to over react and that’s worse
