Hi again looking for some advice going for an overnight spa break with my stoma ,I have been swimming but just wonder if anybody has use steam room or saunas, a bit confused if they will be okay to use? thanks
Yes I know what you mean I took a weekend break eight weeks after my LAR. My daughter bought us a treat in a Hotel du Vin I had the full package of security attachments and lots of products then when I got there I chickened out.
Do you know regretted that. It’s was small out of season and I’m sure I’d of had a lovely time
I wish I’d gone for it but went walking around in Exeter instead. We had a wonderful time.
let us know how you get on
Ann
I see it's been a while since you've posted, but I just wanted to ask if you ever managed to enjoy that spa day or find something else relaxing that worked for you? I'm looking for ways to unwind myself and wondering if anyone has tips on what helped them feel comfortable during or after treatment.
Hi yes I haven’t posted for ages seems ages ago .The spa day was great no problems using any off the steam rooms saunas. Went swimming the only thing I stayed away from was the hot tubs but that didn’t mater as they are not my favourite. Watch what I drank and ate but I would recommend it
Bag free now for 30months and everything is starting to settle down a bit.
