Hi again looking for some advice going for an overnight spa break with my stoma ,I have been swimming but just wonder if anybody has use steam room or saunas, a bit confused if they will be okay to use? thanks
Yes I know what you mean I took a weekend break eight weeks after my LAR. My daughter bought us a treat in a Hotel du Vin I had the full package of security attachments and lots of products then when I got there I chickened out.
Do you know regretted that. It’s was small out of season and I’m sure I’d of had a lovely time
I wish I’d gone for it but went walking around in Exeter instead. We had a wonderful time.
let us know how you get on
Ann
I’ve found getting away even just for a weekend makes such a difference. I did a short stay at one of the retreats Massachusetts has and it gave me space to breathe and relax in a way I didn’t expect. Being around nature and having time set aside just for you really helps take your mind off the stress for a bit.
Hi yes I haven’t posted for ages seems ages ago .The spa day was great no problems using any off the steam rooms saunas. Went swimming the only thing I stayed away from was the hot tubs but that didn’t mater as they are not my favourite. Watch what I drank and ate but I would recommend it
Bag free now for 30months and everything is starting to settle down a bit.
