I'm suspecting I'll have to go to Dewsbury for my chemo' and I can only get there by my car. So I will have to drive myself back home. What is the effect on driving your car when you just have a dose of chemo'.
My infusion appt was 10.30am but I normally left about 3pm . The infusion only took around 2 hours but they have to prepare you for the infusion and order it from the pharmacy so the actual time you are in there is longer than the 2 hours. Also some patients can't tolerate the infusion over 2 hours so can be infused for much longer to ease any discomfort.
Hi Jagman
Do you know if your being offered steroids with your chemo?
The reason i ask is that my steroid days (all my IV days) are my best days of the cycle. I'd have been able to drive on all mine bar 2.
